Additional Description: We are pleased to offer this great condition 991.1 GT3 Cup. This 2016 Cup without serious damage history had a complete refresh prior to the 2019 Porsche Trophy West Series and SCCA. The refresh included engine rebuild by PMNA, (sealed) gearbox rebuild by Bill Rader (then inspected and sealed by PMNA). Dampers went to Sachs for a rebuild, shift system went to Megaline for a rebuild, front control arms replaced, rear control arms replaced prior to the final race of 2019 at Sonoma, fire bottle was sent in for a recharge. The engine and gearbox have approximately 26 hours on them. The car had a very complete and regular maintenance program throughout the year. It ran 9 events with out any DNF's, (2 wins, 1 second, and 6 third place finishes). This is a well-cared for car and ready to go on track. Goldcrest Motorsport did an inspection and found all in order with exception of wheel bearing with a little play which has now been replaced. Car has had a post event maintenance and is ready for the track. We will trade for any street car or Porsche race cars. For more information please contact Geoff Isringhausen: 217-725-8000 for voice/text or email geoff@isringhausen.com

Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 2016 Porsche 911 recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 2016 Porsche 911 problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
